IBM Creates Prototype “Skynet”

Not sure how many of you remember the enemy in the Terminator saga, but its name was “Skynet”. A computer equipped with artificial intelligence and the first thing on its agenda was to nuke the human race and take over the planet. IBM has said to have created a microchip that can possibly mimic the human brain. Electricity transferred over synapses is pretty much how the cognitive process works and through our experiences we form connections and strengthen them. Instead of forming and/or removing connections which would mean soldering and desoldering this chip is able to turn the volume up on strong connections and turn them volume down for weaker ones to make it work similar to the human brain.
