From BallerStatus.com — Since his acquittal on child pornography charges in June, R. Kelly has been quiet, making no public appearances and giving no interviews.

However, the singer will break his silence on Tuesday (September 16) when he gives his first televised interview where he is said to discuss the controversial court case.

BET will air a televised special Tuesday called “R. Kelly Speaks” where R. Kelly will talk to journalist Toure in a one-on-one session where he is expected to speak on everything from the initial allegations to the final verdict where Kellz was acquitted on all 14 counts.

“By answering the hard-hitting questions surrounding his recent case, career, critics and more, Kelly hopes to close this major chapter in his life — once and for all,” a statement from the network read. “Kelly will speak openly about his feelings during and after the trial, the fans he lost along the way, his brother who openly expressed concern about the superstar’s sexual age preference and more.”

The special will air Tuesday at 10 p.m. EST on BET.

Aside from his legal woes, new music from Kellz have surfaced on the net recently. The three new songs are titled “Screamer,” “At the Same Time” and “Two Seater.” However there is no word if the tracks will appear on his upcoming new album, 12 Play 4th Quarter.

The album is expected to drop by the end of the year, but no official date has been set.
